Dirty Girl Mud Run
Yesterday Lisa and I took part in the Dirty Gun mud run at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton. It was a 5k mud run and obstacle course, we had to climb over bales of hay, climb over a huge cargo net, climb over an inflatable hill, crawl through mud pits, climb over walls, the list goes on it was lots and lots of fun and we got really dirty. As you can see from the photos.

Look like you had a good time. I'm going to do the one in Charleston in April 2013 and so far have convinced 2 other girls to do it with me. :)
ReplyDeleteSo fun! i need to do this race one day. It's scheduled for SF in February & maybe if $ is good, I will sign up. How did you do with the obstacles?
ReplyDeleteWe did all of them apart from the vertical wall, as that was too hard as I have no upper body strength, so we skipped that. Some were hard like climbing up and over the cargo net, so it was a huge buzz to conquer them
DeleteAren't mud runs the best!
ReplyDeleteIt was lots and lots of fun
